Spring Renovations: Go Green!
Everybody is talking about going green these days. In the case of renovations or even new constructions, often times, the cost of doing so can actually be less in the long run. While some technologies might cost more on the outset, when you consider the reduced long-term costs for things like heating, you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised with your return on investment (ROI).
If a good ROI isn’t enough to convince you into green building and renovating, hopefully our toolbox full of goodies below will be. Among some of our figurative tools in the box so to speak, are words from Jennifer Corson of Solterre, Green Design firm in Halifax, and Jan MacAuley of Healthful Homes Realty, Halifax’s Green Real Estate company. Both ladies have graciously contributed their input about green design and the importance of including it in your home, for health, for planet and for re-saleability!
So let’s get building! Let’s go green! Let’s get green building, for new and old homes!
