Spring Gardening: Your Green Thumb
We must admit, because our mouth watered so much at the prospect of all those fresh, home-grown meals, we’ve been focussed on vegetable and herb gardening. But remember to plant some flowers too, especially those that are indigenous. That way, they will grow and flourish better in our local surroundings. And your enjoyment of them won’t be wilted by the knowledge that a huge carbon footprint resulted to enable you to indulge in their beauty if you purchase transplants.
Stop and smell the flowers of your garden and your life. And check back for our Summer Guide where we hope to have more to share with you for your flower garden.
