‘Tis the Season to be Green!
That’s right. I said recycled. It’s time taboo turns into totally cool! Besides, it makes for way less packaging, thus reducing your gift-giving carbon footprint!
Of course you don’t want to give someone something rattered-and-tattered. But we all know the old saying: “One person’s trash is another person’s treasure!” So dig-up your buried treasures. Package them up (in a recycled bag of course). And presto: Cadeau! Your shopping is done. And you don’t need to trudge through the snow, wait in line or break the bank either.
If you don’t feel your “treasures” are worthy, why not try other sources for recycled gifts like these:
- Kijiji (Halifax) or Craig’s List (Halifax), an on-line way to buy & sell locally-recycled items
- Freecycle, an on-line way to get or give recycled items FREE
- 2nd Hand Stores, like Frenchies. Look for children-specific 2nd hand stores too
- eBay or Kijiji, an on-line way to buy & sell recycled items from afar
