4) Eco-Local Season
(1st Seasonal Theme)
Let’s face it, when it comes to consumerism, the Holiday season is absolute wrought with it. You can’t walk down the street without a retailer ‘screaming’ from their windows: “BUY!”, as soon as Halloween is over.
Whether you’re succumbing to the ‘screams’ from the retailers, to societal pier pressure of traditional consumerism, or whether you just genuinely want to buy something nice for that special someone, we thought some sustainable gift lists and green shopping ideas might help:

- Eco-Local Gifts List (from K to Z)

4) Eco-Local Season
“Good things come in small packages!” The saying is never more true than during the Holidays when stockings are ‘stuffed’ by the chimney with care…
We must admit that part of our motivation for creating a “Green Stocking” Stuffers List was actually to challenge ourselves to think of smaller gifts, thus reducing material requirement to produce, packaging required and wrapping if used.
It can also be a way to save money… although small things don’t always have small price tags! Nevertheless, we’ve collected a short list of “small items” that would be ideal to “green-up” your stockings this year!
