Immerse yourself in the music and evolve this summer from July 23rd to 25th, 2010, just outside Antigonish, NS!!
Learn about grassroots organizations like Greenpeace and others who will be speaking at the event. Embrace their “Zero Waste” policy efforts again this year. Participate in workshops for yoga and more, returning again to evolve this summer. And know they are planting 1 tree for every ticket sold!
These are just a few of the reasons why evolve was recently voted “Best Festival in Canada” by CBC Radio 3’s Searchlight contest, who will travel to the festival this summer for a special live on-site broadcast.
The anticipated musical line-up has recently been announced and is guaranteed to rock the house! Click for list of performers with many favorites returning to the stage!
A tree is planted for every ticket sold. So buy your early-bird tickets now and save big and help the environment! Once again this year, Evolve will arrange to plant a tree for each Evolve ticket sold. Your trees will be planted in Atlantic Canada tree planting projects that help restore devastated forests.
About Evolve (www.evolvefestival.com)
The Evolve Music and Awareness Festival is an annual 3-day summer celebration of music, culture, and social awareness. From its start in 2000 as a grassroots music and awareness festival featuring local bands, the festival has grown to showcase world-class performers from around the globe.
Evolve also plays host to workshops that inform spectators about social issues such as personal wellbeing and environmental awareness.
“This festival has decided to say from its inception, ‘How can we get as many people turned on to living in a way that’s connected with the planet, as much as we possibly can?” – Michael Franti
“Evolve is a great event and rapidly recognized as THE alternative and green music event of the summer. Hats off to the Evolve Team!” – Elizabeth May, Leader, Green Party of Canada
