Want to find local and eco-minded businesses and organizations? Our NEW "Eco-Local List" is the tool you need to help you on your quest for a more sustainable lifestyle. As our Eco-Local List grows, it will include hundreds of sustainable businesses and organizations... and hopefully yours if you have one!
Wish to list your business, organization or event here? Subscribe to a FREE account to "My CRUSISIS" (lower left corner of webpage), and create your business/ organization listing (or new Event listing) now! You will 'not' see your listing right away. To ensure quality of listings (& keep spam out!), we review all submissions within 24 to 48 hours (+/-). Then, business/ organization listings are accessible for viewing through our "Eco-Local List" (ie: this page) for ALL the public to see. Events are viewed in Event modules (boxes) on right side of most of our web pages OR via our main Events page of the CRUSISIS website.
IMPORTANT SEARCH TIPS...
- To locate a business or organization, simply click on the one you are looking for from the list below using the "next or previous" page options to see more listings. OR, use the Alphabetic Index, OR the Search box, OR select from the filters available via the drop down boxes, located under the alphabet.
- Search using filters (ie: drop-down menu selections). Search results will be displayed below, along with the filter option you selected (if any). The filter box has a RED icon next to it (ie: small circle with checkmark in it). Please note that the filter will remain on until you click it (the red icon) to turn it off. If you continue to search another criteria without turning off the first search criteria, you will be searching BOTH parameters (ie: organic & fair trade for example), and this may narrow your search unnecessarily such that no listings appear.
- Hoan your search with multiple parameters (or search filters). The more parameters you search at 1 time, the shorter the resulting list will be. (ie: Choosing "Services" only-from Offering AND "100% locally produced"-from Sustainable Qualities AND "Downtown"-from Neighbourhood). You can start broad (ie: select 1 parameter), and narrow search by adding parameters if desired.
- To remove a specific filter, remember to click the red icon to turn off the specific or multiple filter(s).
- Close all filters to view "ALL Listings". A filter also applies to the "ALL" link option in the Alphabetic Index. To see "ALL" listings, all other filters must be removed. Click & close all RED circles and the full list will re-appear. It all becomes 2nd nature once you use it a few times...
