We also host community-based events, contests and initiatives to help share with folks the wonderful, healthy, tangible benefits of living more sustainably. For Sustainable Event Listings, you can scroll down to the BOTTOM of this page for a "Quick Links" menu, OR use our TOP & LEFT side Events Menus to navigate. There are also "easy access" event modules (boxes) on RIGHT side of many of the web pages, to enable quick access to events as you navigate our website.

- Month-at-a-Glance Calendar (Use drop-down menu to narrow your search - ie: "Green Events" or arrows to change month, and click Go/Search.)
- Mini-Calendar (RIGHT side of web pages) for Day-at-a-Glance list of Sustainable Living Events Calendar. Some days have multiple listings and others may only have one, or none. As participation grows in FREE Events Listing service via "My CRUSISIS", you'll always be able to find sustainable happenings to further enhance your daily living.
- Archived Events to see what you may have missed, and may want to note for next year.
Want to List Your Eco-Event (FREE through "My CRUSISIS -beta")
If you would like to list your healthy, green, local, eco-friendly event, it's easy! Just subscribe (FREE) to "My CRUSISIS (beta)" (or scroll to the bottom LEFT side of our web page). After you receive your authenticating email, click the link and you are ready to login (lower left again). Add your Event (or Eco-friendly Business to our Eco-Local List) using the "My CRUSISIS (beta)" menu, and post them for ALL to see!
CRUSISIS Events
- Locks of Love – Ponytail Cutting (June 2010): Contact us if you want to cut your ponytail to give to children suffering from medical-related hair loss. Donations made to Locks of Love in conjunction with our generous sponsor: urbanity salon, Bishop's Landing. Coloured hair accepted! (but NOT bleached as with highlights) Public welcomed! - Preserve-Making Workshop (Summer/ Fall 2010): Learn how to preserve the fruits of the earth. (Contact us to register.)
- Local, Healthy Cooking Classes (Fall/ Winter 2010): More details soon! (Public welcomed with entry fee) Event will proceed depending on number of pre-registered people.
- Eco Family Event There was a touch of 'green magic' in the air as we celebrated Earth Day with young families this spring, on a beautiful sunny day in a lovely outdoor park setting. We hope to see you out in even greater abundance next year...
- "TASTE for the Cure: a Sampling of Local Flavours" fundraising event for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation & in promotion of local producers Pallets were tempted last fall '09 with locally-made taste sensations including sparkling cider, beer, chocolate, cheese, bread and Mediterranean food, while enjoying local art at the Argyle Fine Art Gallery. We also had some raffles tied with the event with an amazing list of donors! Thank you and hopefully we'll see you in 2010!
- Team CRUSISIS.ca for Run for the Cure: More and more evidence links breast cancer and other types of cancer to environmental causes. Team CRUSISIS.ca had a great time doing something healthy, outdoors, while raising money for a great cause in the 2009 race. We're tracking interest to create another team for fall 2010. Contact us if you are interested!... Men, women and children welcomed!

Small entry fee anticipated for events. Public welcomed. Some events “may” require a small fee for supplies. But we’re working with partners to eliminate these.
